SodaMelt Refund Policy

This policy applies to SodaMelt orders placed through the official checkout that the order buttons on sodameltdaily.com hand off to, and to no other purchase.

Sodameltdaily operates as a licensed u.s. retail desk for sodamelt. It publishes this policy, it does not take payment, and it does not hold stock. Payment is taken by BuyGoods of 1201 N Orange Street, Suite 7223, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA. Fulfilment and the returns address are the seller's.

Where this policy and the seller's own published terms differ on a point of fact, the seller's terms govern the transaction, because the contract of sale is with the seller. Any difference a reader finds is worth reporting to [email protected] so this page can be corrected.

• The request is made within 60 days of the purchase date. The purchase date is the date on the order confirmation, not the delivery date.
• The order was placed through the official checkout. A bottle obtained from any other source has no order record and cannot be refunded here.
• The order ID is supplied. It appears on the order confirmation email. Where it is lost, the desk may match on the purchaser name and the email used at the checkout.
• The bottles are returned. Opened bottles qualify. Empty bottles qualify. The bottles being sent back is the condition, not their contents.
• The return is authorised before it is posted. Unannounced parcels may be refused at the returns address.

A return is authorised by telephone. The order desk is reached on +1 (302) 200-3480 and handles tracking, changes and refunds.

The purpose of the call is to obtain the current returns address and to have the return recorded against the order. Addresses for returns change without notice, and the address printed on an old email may no longer be the one in use.

The returns address on file at the time of writing is 220 East 42nd Street, Suite 1408, New York, NY 10017, USA. It is printed here for reference and does not replace the address the desk gives you on the call.

• Enclose your full name, the email used at the checkout and the order ID on paper, inside the box. A parcel with no identification inside it is the single commonest reason a refund stalls.
• Return every bottle from the order being refunded, opened, part-used or empty.
• Use the address the desk gave you on the call, not one copied from an earlier order.
• Pack so the bottles arrive intact. A leaking parcel can be refused by the carrier before it reaches the returns address.
• Keep the proof of postage and the tracking reference until the credit appears on the card.

Return postage is paid by the buyer. No prepaid label is issued and no carriage is reimbursed, including the carriage originally paid at the checkout on a one or three-bottle order.

Risk in the goods remains with the buyer until the parcel reaches the returns address. A parcel that is lost in transit and cannot be traced is not a refundable loss, which is why a tracked service is asked for rather than suggested.

On a six-bottle return the postage is a real sum, and on an international return it can approach the value of the goods. That arithmetic belongs in the decision before the largest pack is bought, not after it.

Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. The final period is set by the card issuer and is outside the seller's control.

The refund is credited to the payment method used for the original purchase. It is not paid by cheque, by bank transfer or to a different card, and a closed card account is a matter to raise with the desk on the authorising call rather than afterwards.

The amount credited is the pack price paid. Carriage paid at the checkout is not part of it, and neither is any duty or handling charge raised on delivery.

• Requests made after the 60-day period has closed. The date of purchase governs.
• Bottles not bought through the official checkout, including marketplace purchases and bottles received from another person.
• Returns posted without authorisation, which may be refused on arrival.
• Parcels that cannot be identified because no name, email or order ID was enclosed and no tracking reference can be produced.
• Carriage of any kind, outbound or return, and any duty or handling charge.
• Any claim framed as a health outcome. This is a purchase policy. It makes no representation about the product's effect on anybody.

Nothing on this page limits any statutory right a buyer holds under the consumer law of their own jurisdiction. Where a statutory right is wider than this policy, the statutory right applies.

Nothing on this page is a waiver of the right to raise a dispute with a card issuer, although a call to the order desk is quicker in most circumstances and leaves a record on the order.

Two desks, and only one of them can see an order. Writing to the wrong one is the commonest way a refund loses a week.
